This is a 1 day workshop designed for front-line staff whose role involves interacting with members of the public who may have cause to be anxious, worried or stressed; or experience a situation or event as traumatic. Participants will review the core principles of psychological first aid and how these can be adapted and applied to working with the general public or a particular client base to defuse stress and negative emotions, enhance client relationships and augment positive health outcomes.
Follow-up coaching to review and support effective implementation of skills learnt in training available on request.
